Consumer prices in Armenia increased by 7.2% in January-December 2021 compared to January-December 2020, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) said today.
According to NSC, in December 2021 consumer prices grew by 7.7% compared to December 2020 and by 1.6% compared to November 2021, ARKA reports.
The prices of manufactured goods in January-December 2021 rose by 9.9% compared to the same period in 2020. At the same time in December 2021 they increased by 9%, when compared to December 2020 and compared to November 2020 the prices increased by 1.8%.
Armenia's economic activity in 2021 grew by 5.8% year-on-year, according to preliminary figures, released today by the National Statistical Committee (NSC).
The growth in December 2021 compared to December 2020 was 9.9%, and 24.1% when compared to November 2021, the NSC said.
