Twenty-eight projects will be carried out to benefit victims of Cooperative Housing, said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze at the municipal government meeting.
Tbilisi Mayor clarified that construction permits are issued on 15 projects, nine are pending, and winner investors are revealed.
Over 1400 victims will receive apartments. Additionally, 615 applications are submitted to the Tbilisi City Hall and they will be met in the coming years.
“Every family will be accommodated. We will not have any people left facing this problem. This is a 30-year-old problem, and we are representatives of a government that takes concrete steps to provide housing for these people,” Kaladze said.
The Tbilisi Mayor thanked municipal services and construction companies, which are involved in the resolution of the problem.
