About 450 thousand foreign tourists visited Armenia in January-March 2023, up from 250,800 in the same period last year, according to the Tourism Committee.
The bulk of foreign visitors- 53%- were from Russia, 12% were from Georgia and 6% were from Iran.
Over 159,900 tourists visited Armenia in March alone (vs. 84,200 in March 2022, 37,700 in 2021, 58,800 in 2022 and 117,800 in March 2019), ARKA reports.
