The decision to start charter flights in Georgia was made by another low-cost airline Kyrgyz Air Manas, which will operate flights from Bishkek to Batumi-Bishkek, - said the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava.
"The entry of another new airline into the Georgian market is good news. Each new airline that is added to our air market in the post-pandemic period is a very good event and will lead to a rapid recovery of tourism. At the same time, this is the first time that air traffic between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia has started. So, we are expecting Kyrgyz guests not only in Adjara, but throughout the country, "- said Natia Turnava.
Air Manas, a low-cost airline of Kyrgyzstan, will start operating in the direction of Bishkek - Batumi - Bishkek from July 18. According to the application submitted to the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia, the airline plans to carry out multiple charter flights by November 1 of the current year, once a week (Sunday).
The Civil Aviation Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia granted the airline the necessary permit for the implementation of multiple charter air traffic on June 17 this year.
