The Ambassador of Germany to Georgia, Peter Fischer, states that article 130 of the EU treaty prescribes the independence of national central banks and commits governments of EU member states to respect this principle.
"Know about EU. Article 130 of the EU treaty prescribes the independence of European Central Bank and national central banks in the EU and commits EU & governments of EU member states to respect this principle," the Ambassador tweeted.
