The National Competition Agency reported on adding one more pharmaceutical company, SK Impex Ltd, to its ongoing investigation in the pharmaceutical market regarding oncological drug prices. Thus, the number of studied companies increased to five.
Based on the data provided by the Health Ministry, the Competition Agency is probing into the alleged “Carter agreement” related to offering equal prices within the framework of the state program.
The outcome of the inquiry, the Competition Agency Chair Irakli Lekvinadze said earlier, is expected to be known in 6 months to confirm or reject the suspicion.
