Georgia’s National Competition Agency has launched monitoring the nut market based on the plea of local farmers.
“The monitoring intends to examine the market in terms of competition legislation, including factors influencing seasonal price formation,” the agency said.
In 2022, the National Competition Agency examined the pharmaceutical sector, motor fuel (gasoline and diesel), and glass waste collection and processing.
Currently, the agency is investigating insurance products in banking and gas motor fuel industries.
