Starting September 1, 2023, those who wish to obtain a driver’s license in Georgia will be required to know the technical condition of the vehicle, according to the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Questions about the technical performance of the car will be added to the practical test. The driver candidate must answer the questions visually using the appropriate tool, or verbally, the agency explained.
As BM.GE reported, the number of people receiving driver's licenses in Georgia during the second quarter of 2023 amounted to 7, 299 up from 5, 746 from the Q1 2023 and down from 7, 969 from Q2 2022, according to the preliminary data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
