The National Statistics office of Georgia (Geostat) published a preliminary report on External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia. According to the document, during this period, goods worth USD 492 million were exported from Georgia to foreign countries, which was USD 19 million or 4% more than the previous year.
The value of export increased by 14.3% reaching USD 4 billion, while the import increased 18% and amounted to USD 9.92 billion.
According to Geostat, detailed data on external merchandise trade of Georgia will be published on 19 September, 2023.
