The National State Procurement Agency announces tender on acquisition of COVID beds worth 5.6 million GEL. According to the statement, the Social Service Agency has already signed agreements with the clinics.
As the application reads, COVID beds are distributed in Tbilisi and other regions of the country. However, the Ministry of Health signed the largest contract of 1.1-million with Archangel St. Michael Multi Profile Clinical Hospital.
In total, the Social Service Agency plans to purchase COVID beds worth 48 million GEL.
In the application, the Social Service Agency indicates that the expected infection rate in the country has exceeded currently available resources in the institutions operating in the country and urgent procurement should be carried out.
According to the tender terms, Social Service Agency will hire the COVID beds from the medical institutions operating in the country.
