We are gearing up for another important event-as you know, Georgia will host the Winter Olympic Festival in 2025. We will discuss this topic today. We will allocate GEL 100 million from the budget, and then we will start making ready for the festival, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili stated at today’s Government meeting.
According to him, relevant infrastructure will be built in Tbilisi and Bakuriani to this end.
“Biathlon and skiing courses will be built in Bakuriani. An ice palace will be built in Tbilisi, and other new infrastructure will be added to Tbilisi and Bakuriani. This year GEL 25 million has been allocated already. In all, organizing this festival will cost GEL 100 million,” the Prime Minister said.
