The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili talked about the hotels being built or planned in Abastumani. According to the PM, various business groups are engaged in the process and total investment volume of the referred projects is up to 442 MLN GEL.
“Paragraph Abastumani will be a 5-Star hotel from the upper class of Autograph Collection under the umbrella of Marriott International Chain. Construction is in progress already. Total volume of investment made into this project is about 150 MLN GEL. Construction is due to be completed in 2023”, - the PM said.
Also, construction of the following hotels is planned:
- Rooms Hotel is planned to be built with an investment value of about 43 MLN GEL,
- Vardzia with 36 MLN GEL,
- EIKON Abastumani with 5 MLN GEL,
- Royal Abastumani with 6.5 MLN GEL,
- Aghobili with 140 MLN GEL,
- Imperial with 25 MLN GEL.
Also, it is planned to rehabilitate the historic Bath of Abastumani, which is budgeted at about 36 MLN GEL.
