On June 3, five business associations offered the government to develop an action plan in the case of a second wave. However, consultations have not actually begun, - Giorgi Kacharava, Executive Director of the EU-Georgia Business Council (EUGBC) told TV-program Business Course.

According to him, there have been no preliminary consultations with the business in terms of minimizing losses.

"On November 7, the government announced another point restrictions, which came into force in a day and a half. Our idea was to develop action plan by stages in accordance with the epidemiological condition. According to that plan, the government would communicate with the business”, Gorgi Kacharava declared.

He also has considered the impact of ongoing political processes on the business, noting that it is crucial that with the involvement of the EU and the US, these processes must move quickly to the negotiating table.

"It will give more predictability and stability to the environment, so these processes must start in the coming days," said the executive director of the EU-Georgia Business Council.
