The Ministry of Finance published a report on the performance of the 2023 budget for Q1. According to the document, the budget collected taxes of GEL 4.1 billion, which was 100.3% of the plan.
Budget performance according to the taxes:
• VAT - GEL 1.58 billion, 107% of the annual plan;
• Income tax - GEL 1.42 billion, 112% of the annual plan;
• Profit tax - GEL 671 million, 97% of the annual plan;
• Excise duty - GEL 434 million, 130% of the annual plan.
Accoridng to the Ministry of Finance, the privatization plan has been GEL 29.7 million for 1Q2023, which is 106 % of Q1 plan.
