From August 1 to November 21 of this year, 13.8 thousand tons of hazelnuts were exported from Georgia, the value of which amounted to 63.1 million US dollars.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, compared to the same period last year, the volume of exported hazelnuts increased by 3.6 thousand tons (34%), and the value - by 6.8 million dollars (12%).
Georgian hazelnuts are mainly exported to EU markets - Italy (5,808 tons), Germany (2,420 tons), Spain (424 tons), Czech Republic (401 tons), Poland (337 tons), Lithuania (262 tons), France ( 224 tonnes), Bulgaria (110 tonnes), Latvia (70 tonnes), Estonia (60 tonnes), Greece (49 tonnes), Belgium (41 tonnes), Hungary (22 tonnes), Croatia (20 tonnes), Hungary (22 tonnes) ).
Hazelnuts are also exported to Armenia (828 tons), China (755 tons), Ukraine (256 tons), Russia (274 tons), Algeria (193 tons), Belarus (186 tons), Saudi Arabia (168 tons), Arabia (158 tons) ), Switzerland (151 tons), Mexico (120 tons), Azerbaijan (82 tons), Argentina (77 tons), Canada (75 tons), United Arab Emirates (59 tons), Kazakhstan (45 tons), Uzbekistan (44 tons) ), Passes through the United Kingdom (22 tons), Turkey (22), Kyrgyzstan (22 tons), Tunisia (15 tons), Jordan (14 tons).
