The international rating agency S&P Global publishes a new review about Georgia. As of the organization, in contrast, the economy of Georgia grew by 10.3% this year, which was mainly due to the migration of Russians. In the same period, there was a 13.1% growth in Armenia, higher than in Georgia.

According to the organization, Armenia and Georgia received 150,000-300,000 migrants this year, who contributed hundreds of millions to the economy of these countries. To describe the economic effect of migration, S&P uses the term "boost".

"The national currencies of Georgia, Armenia and Tajikistan were stable during 2022.

After the devaluation in early March, the Armenian dram and the Georgian lari have strengthened by 30% and 20% against the USD for the year," said a report published by S&P.
