Investments in fixed capital in Azerbaijan made up 1,091.7 million manats ($0.64 billion) in January 2023, marking a 61.2% growth over the same period in 2022, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, investments in the oil and gas sector decreased by 8.8%, and in the non-oil-and-gas sector increased by 2.5 times.
During the reporting period, 506.2 million manats ($297.76 million), or 46.4%, were made in production, 529 million manats ($311.18 million), or 48.4% in services, and 56.5 million manats ($33.24 million) or 5.2% in housing construction.
Domestic funds constituted 812.1 million manats ($477.7 million) (74.4%) of the funds directed to fixed capital, and construction and installation work amounted to 844.2 million manats ($496.6 million) (77.3%).
