Irakli Kovzanadze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance and Budget, makes the first comment on the government's refusal of EU Assistance.
Kovzanadze said that it was his committee, which approved the agreement and submitted it to the parliament for ratification.
At the same time, Irakli Kovzanadze explains that Georgia needs the assistance of the European Union and European financial institutions both this year and in the coming years as well.
"My committee approved this bill and I took it to the session for ratification. This is my attitude on this. However, the government has to decide what they will take, what they will not”, Kovzanadze said.
Kovzanadze declares that Georgia needs European financial institutions, including the European Bank, EIB, KFW and various other institutions.
