Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze says on Friday, it is still not possible to contact 35 people stuck in the disaster zone.
As Karseladze told journalists in Racha, the rescue operation continues with the involvement of both the helicopter and rescuers. According to him, the installation of the two bridges taken away by the landslide will begin today.
"The rescue operation continues in full scale, with the use of helicopters and direct involvement of rescuers. As for people who cannot be contacted, there are 35 such people. The process continues. As for the infrastructure, the equipment has been mobilized, two excavators have already been brought and the process continues on the river. Preparatory works are also being carried out in connection with the two bridges that were taken away by landside, and the installation of the bridge will begin today," said Karseladze.
