A new portal has been launched for Covid-19 infected patients in Georgia in order to easily give them access to the service of a family doctor, announces the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Citizens who test positive for Covid-19 have the opportunity to register on https://er.moh.gov.ge/. The information received by the emergency service 112 will be processed and forwarded to the family doctor for further monitoring.
The purpose of introducing the new portal was two-fold: To create an additional communication channel for the citizens infected with the Covid-19 and, on the other hand, to reduce the number of calls to 112, the statement reads.
The portal was developed by the Public Safety Management Center 112 and the Ministry of Health.
