Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov.
The parties emphasised centuries-long friendly relations and prolific strategic cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in the trade, energy, and education sectors.
The Speaker and Azerbaijani PM reviewed the situation in the region and stressed the significance of future cooperation for peace in the South Caucasus.
Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Archil Talakvadze, MPs Zaur Dargali and Savalan Mirzoev, and Georgia’s Ambassador in Azerbaijan Zurab Pataridze attended the meeting.
