The government decree also introduces monthly scholarships for the winners of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, which amounts to GEL 500 and GEL 800.
According to the changes made in 2019, scholarships of GEL 1000 are provided for the winners of the Paralympic Games.
"The decree enters into force upon publication and is valid from November 1, 2021," the document reads.
