Union of Oil Products Importers reports, that imports of petroleum bitumen amounted to 58 thousand tons during January-August 2022, which was 13 thousand tons or 18.3% less compared to the same period of 2021 (71 thousand tons).
During the first 8 months of the current year, the largest volume of oil bitumen imports was carried out from Azerbaijan - 48.9 thousand tons, which was 84.3% of all imports, followed by Turkey - 3.9 thousand tons (6.7%); Iraq - 2.9 thousand tons (5%); Turkmenistan - 1.7 thousand tons (2.9%); Russia - 0.5 thousand tons (0.9%); Malaysia - 0.1 thousand tons (0.2%).
During the months of January-August 2022, the imports of liquefied gas (LPG) amounted to 25.52 thousand tons, which was 0.55 thousand tons or 2.2% more compared to the indicator of the same period last year (24.97 thousand tons).
During 8 months of the current year, 99.9% (25.49 thousand tons) of liquefied gas (LPG) imports were made from the Russian Federation.
