Potato imports were up by 46.1% in 2020 amid the pandemic. The country spent 3.5 million USD on acquisition of 17 980.6 t last year.
According to Geostat, Georgia imported largest volume of potato from Germany, Turkey and the Netherlands last year.

Georgia purchased a small volume of potatoes from Armenia, Belarus and Iran in 2020.
As for exports, the volume was up by 9.7% and amounted to 1.1 million USD in 2020.
