Giorgi Mtiulishvili, the founder of Kids' Entertainment Center Like told bm.ge that the sector is relatively stable after the removal of COVID regulations, but now the main challenge is the increased prices for the products.

According to him, due to the expensive products, the prices for "Like" services increased by 15% in about two weeks. As for when the sector will be able to return to the pre-pandemic levels, it is difficult for the company to determine this in advance.

"We are returning to relative stability. We have been stuck for almost two years and it is difficult to suddenly gather the strength to catch up with the tax system. After the pandemic, we were faced with increased prices for the product, for example, if we paid GEL 25 for a certain amount of coffee, now it costs GEL 40. Wages remain the same, therefore the customer is not solvent. We have had a 15% price increase so far, but the price of the product is rising at such a rate that we think we will have to revise the prices for services. This is bad, you cannot determine the cost of service because the market is volatile.

As for the customer attitude towards the expensive service, some of them do not understand why we are raising prices. Because of this, they refused to provide our services, because it is still a luxury to use children's entertainment centers. If you can afford it, you will pay for a child's birthday, otherwise you do not," said the founder of "Like".
