Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development declares, that wine made from endemic varieties in Georgia has great potential in the American market.

"The unique varieties produced by Georgia have more potential in the American market. There are many international varieties produced by other countries in the American market. Georgia has its own endemic varieties, and I think presenting these endemic varieties is the right position. In the last decade, we have consistently followed to increase the awareness of local Georgian varieties, for example, such as Saperavi. Among them, Qvevri wine is a strong point of Georgian wine," says the Minister.
