According to the NDI survey, rising prices, jobs and poverty remain top national concerns.
To the question, what are the most important national issues facing you and your family? - 77% of respondents answered that they are very worried about inflation, 21% are worried about rising prices and only 1% are not worried about this issue.
As of the survey, 38% of respondents believe that it is more the result of the Georgian government's policy, 31% believe that inflation is more the result of factors beyond the control of the Georgian government. 16% say that both factors influence price growth, and 15% do not know.
The survey was conducted between December 3 - December 20, through face-to-face interviews with a nationwide representative sample of Georgia’s adult population, excluding occupied territories. The December poll included 2,519 completed interviews. The average margin of error is +/- 1.6 percent.
