New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU fell 27.1% annually in April, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) reported.
A total of 125,034 units were sold last month, according to the latest ACEA figures.
Spain saw an annual decline of 36%, followed by Germany at 30.5%, France at 28.6%, and Italy at 17.5%.
During the first four months of 2022, sales of new commercial vehicles in the EU declined by 20.3%, the ACEA said.
In the January-April period, Spain saw the steepest fall of 31.8%, followed by France at 23.6%, Germany at 16.5%, and Italy at 7.7%.
