The International Chamber of Commerce condemns in the strongest terms the assassination attempt against Mr. Itsik Moshe, President of the Israel-Georgia Chamber of Business, a member in high standing of ICC Georgia.
According to available information, the businessman, whose assassination attempt was prevented by Georgia's Security Service, is Itsik Moshe.
The businessman also published a post on the social network: "Thank you for your support. Thanks to the President of the State of Israel, Yitzhak Herzog, for his encouraging words and support, and of course many thanks to the Security Service of Georgia for exposing and thwarting the terrorist attack. There is a lot of work and things to do. We continue and prepare for a new working day."
According to Fady Asly, Chairman of the ICC, Mr. Moshe has strived for years towards the betterment of the business and investment climates in Georgia.

The International Chamber of Commerce rejects any kind of acts of terrorism, and expresses its gratitude to the Georgian law enforcement bodies for thwarting the assassination attempt", Fady Asly noted in his letter.
The embassy of Israel in Georgia on Tuesday thanked Georgia's state security service for their “professional and determined” efforts to ensure the safety of the Israeli citizens after the security service prevented the assassination of an Israeli citizen in the country.
The embassy said it “truly appreciated” the “important and decisive” actions taken by Georgia's local authorities. “We are witnessing how Iran continues in its malign activities and it’s terror acts attempts not only in the Middle East, but all over the world, now here in peaceful Georgia”, the statement read.
The state security service today announced that its counterintelligence department had prevented the assassination of an Israeli citizen by a group involving individuals with Pakistani and dual Georgian-Iranian citizenships, who have been arrested.
The agency also said it identified the person who had ordered the crime - reportedly an Iranian national living abroad - and their accomplices, and noted “complex operational and investigative measures” were in progress over the case.
