Many agro-tourism facilities have appeared in Imereti in recent years, especially in Kutaisi, which offers tourists not only local dishes but also a different experience of hospitality. Among such facilities is "Tina's Ethno Winery", which mainly hosts tourists from Europe and the Baltic countries during the current season.
According to the assessment of the founder of the tourist facility, there is an increase in tourists in the current season compared to the last year, although tourism in Imereti region is also accompanied by challenges.
As Tina Toroshelidze, the owner of the winery, told bm.ge, the main obstacle to the tourist traffic in Kutaisi is the lack of transport to the airport.
"Our direction is busier in the current season than in previous years, the demand for Georgian gastronomy has increased. Guests from Europe and Baltic countries predominate among vacationers.
As for challenges, the first challenge in our region is the lack of public transport to Kutaisi Airport. It is quite difficult for a tourist" - says the founder of "Tina's Ethno Winery".
