The unemployment rate was down to 6% in the EU and 6.5% in the euro area last November on a yearly basis, the EU's statistical office said on Monday.
There are 12.95 million unemployed people in the EU, of whom 10.85 million was in the euro area, in November, according to Eurostat.
The unemployment rate was 6.4% for women in the EU and 5.7% for men, while they were 7% and 6.1%, respectively, in the euro area.
The youth unemployment rate was at 15.1% in the EU and eurozone.
Among member states, highest unemployment rates were seen in Spain (12.4%), Greece (11.4%), and Italy (7.8%) in November.
