Chelti Winery established an importing company Georgian Wine Organization in Germany, and obtained a license to sell its wine throughout Europe.

Ana Mirianashvili, commercial director of the company, told BM.GE that the establishment of the importing company has increased the credibility of Chelti Winery, because it is a great convenience for the consumer to buy products from the producer.

"We founded an importing company in Germany and became our own wine distributors in this country and across Europe. This means that we have a license to import our products to Europe. We already have a wine warehouse in Germany and started selling our products to more and more restaurants. We receive orders not only from Germany, but also from Holland, Italy, Spain, etc. The fact that we sell our wine ourselves has increased our credibility, because it is always more convenient for the customer to buy the product from the producer", says Ana Mirianashvili.

Commercial director of "Chelti Winery" also notes that the establishment of a company in Europe is associated with many difficulties and efforts.

"Establishing a company in Europe, especially for Georgian citizens, is very difficult, there are many bureaucratic processes, you have to go through a lot of inspections, but we worked very hard and achieved results," Mirianashvili said, adding that their priority is to create interesting products from their own vineyards and export them to those countries. Where Georgian wine is still unknown.

"Chelti Winery" produces half a million bottles of 15 types of wine annually.
