Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze says doctors have failed to provide sufficient evidence to change certain points in Government Decree 520.
As Tikaradze noted, the work of the General Health Council is going on intensively, on a daily basis.
“Meetings are intense, on a daily basis and twice a day, in different sectors. The work was delayed because the facts and evidence provided by the doctors could not be considered sufficient to amend certain provisions of Resolution 520. We gave them some explanations and lots of additional information. We have also provided additional information in accordance with international standards to further develop it in Georgian, to agree and return the answers to the Ministry,”the Minister noted.
