In January-September 2021, Moldovan goods exports amounted to 2103.3 million US dollars. 26.9% of total exports are to Romania.
According to the National Statistics Bureau, exports of goods have increased. Thus, in September 2021, exports were worth 294.9 million US dollars, 24.8% more than in August 2021 and 38.9% compared to September 2020, MOLDPPRES reports.
According to statistics, exports of domestic goods are also increasing. In January-September 2021, the domestic expert amounted to 1579.9 million US dollars and accounted for 75.1 percent of total exports.
Re-exports of foreign goods (after processing and classic) in nine months amounted to 523.4 million US dollars (24.9% of total exports).
The main destinations of Moldovan exports are the countries of the European Union, where in January-September the Republic of Moldova exported goods worth 1288.5 million US dollars or 61.3% of total exports.
In nine months of this year, exports of goods to CIS countries had a share of 15.3 percent of total exports and were worth 322.9 million US dollars.
The main countries of destination of exports of goods, which accounted for 88.5% of total exports were: Romania (26.9% of total exports), Turkey (9.7%), the Russian Federation (9.2%), Germany (8.9%), Italy (7.5%), Poland (3.6%), Ukraine (3.0%), Switzerland and the Czech Republic (2.9% each), Belarus and the United Kingdom Great Britain and Northern Ireland (2.2% each), Bulgaria (1.9%), Hungary (1.4%), the Netherlands (1.2%), France (1.1%), Spain, Greece and Lebanon (1.0% each) and the United States (0.9).
