Two Ambassadors have said good-bye to Georgia since their term has expired. Ran Gidor, an Israeli diplomat who previously served in the Central African Republic and Equatorial Guinea, replaced Shabtai Tsur, who had served in the role of the Ambassador to Georgia since 2016. Ambassador Ran Gidor had always been stressing the importance of deepening trade relations between Georgia and Israel, and was very keen on showcasing Georgia as the country worth traveling to.
