Children's clothing brand "Rko", produced in Georgia, has increased prices by 10-15% in the last year. As Tamuna Mesarkishvili, co-founder of the company, notes, there is high inflation in the country due to which everything has got expensive.
"If the price of RKO baby clothes varied from GEL 30 to GEL 230 in the local market in the same period of the last year, now it starts from GEL 50 and increases up to GEL 250.
In addition to the increased price of the material, we also had an increase in the salaries of the staff, which ultimately made the product for sale more expensive. The demand for baby clothes made here in the Georgian market is increasing every day", - noted Tamuna Mesarkishvili.
70% of "Rko" is exported to the foreign market, while 30% - to the Georgian market.
